    Visiting the area to take an exam. Stopped by while taking a walk since it was close to where I was staying. The staff there were really attentive--very good service as I was checked on several times. I ordered the chicken enchiladas which was good! They also give you chips, beans, and salsa if you dine in. Portions are large too, and for me the price is a good deal, as it's like two meals for one. I'd come here again.

    A couple of my go to Mexican Restaurants have gone out if business or changed owners, so when I saw this one had recently opened I decided to give it a try. I ordered the food to go because if a heavy work scedule.
    When I got ti the shop and opened the boxes I was so Happy!!! The food even to go was hot, eye appealing, and best of all excellent. I most certainly will recommend them and will be back soon.

    We tried El Metate tonight.  The food: good, very tasty, large portions.  Service: good; we were checked on several times, drinks refilled.  Yay!  Atmosphere: meh.  No decor, in a strip mall.  Prices:  kind of high.  Started at $10 and went up.  And on the bill, we were overcharged.  Total experience:  some good, some not so good
